Our 5 bedroom detached villa is right on the quiet, child friendly beach - having great views across the Adriatic to the outlying islands of Brac, Hvar and the Peljesac Peninsular. It was fully refurbished in 2007 including 2 new bathrooms & new kitchen & part air-conditioning. The accomodation is on 3 floors. Ground floor - open plan kitchen/dining/living area (plus WC) leading directly out onto a vine and bougainvillea covered terrace with fantastic views of the beach and the sea. There is a stone table (seats about 10max) and a BBQ. 1st floor - 3 bedrooms and a bathroom (2 doubles and 1 bunk bedded room) 2nd floor - 2 bedrooms and a bathroom (1 double and a twin - twin in attic style room with sloping ceiling) OUTSIDE - the gardens are all around the villa, on a steeply sloping site with terraced gardens. Many fruit trees (orange, lemon, fig, pomegranate, avocado) and wild herbs in the garden. At the front of the villa is a sun terrace area and an outside fresh water shower

The Villa is located on the beautiful Dalmatian Coast of Croatia between Split and Dubrovnik. It lies on the Adriatic Sea opposite the East coast of Italy. About 20km south of Makarska, it is at the quiet end of the famous Makarska Riviera - a long time holiday destination with its lovely beaches, clean seas and numerous interesting towns and villages. Zivogosce comprises 5 small hamlets - 3 on the coast and 2 further up the mountain. Zivogosce Mala Duba is a small, former fishing village now mostly dependant on tourism. It has a small village centre with shop and a restaurant, and a small but quite lovely pebble beach. There are numerous coves and inlets and small isolated beaches to discover all along this coast.
