Villa Amalia is situated on Coral Bay itself in a slightly elevated position on top of a small cliff to one side of the bay. It faces the main beach and is a most impressive and imposing house and one of the first to be built on the bay.
This villa certainly has character and its interior is laid out on three different levels with the main entrance leading off from a private driveway. Off from here is the spacious lounge/dining room, which is richly furnished with leather sofas in front of a stone fireplace and there is a TV (local channels) DVD, CD player, Sony Playstation 2 and air-conditioning for your added enjoyment. Patio doors open out onto a long shady veranda, a lovely place to relax and enjoy the cool sea breezes and amazing views. The dining area is at the end of the lounge and adjacent to the kitchen. The spacious kitchen in pine has a separate pantry and preparation area and houses a dishwasher and microwave. Leading out from here is a small conservatory/breakfast room, which has access to the outside steps down to the pool terrace.
On the same middle level is a hallway which first leads past a cloakroom with WC and then to an air-conditioned double bedroom with antique style character furnishings. Next to this is a re-fitted family bathroom followed by another air-conditioned double bedroom. Lastly on this level is the air-conditioned master double bedroom with featured mirrored wall and fully re-fitted bathroom en-suite. This bedroom is well furnished and has small TV (local channels).
On the upper level there is an air-conditioned pretty twin bedded room affording super views and a new shower room with WC. There is also a small gym, which has a 'stroller', exercise bike and multi gym.
On the lower level there is an air-conditioned pretty single bedroom with en-suite shower and WC and patio doors to the pool terrace. There is also an air-conditioned twin on this level, which has fully bathroom en-suite and patio doors onto the pool terrace. Leading off from this bedroom is a small kitchen/utility room with washing machine and this can be closed off from the bedroom and reached via the pool terrace if desired. Finally there is a snooker room with dartboard and small bar for your added pleasure.
All bedrooms are carpeted and together with the lounge are air-conditioned at no extra charge.
Outside the 12 metre pool sits amongst extensive stone terraces. There is a small shower room with WC and also table tennis. For those meals al-fresco there is a brick built barbecue and the whole area is well furnished for both living and dining outdoors. Fifty or so rather steep railed steps lead down directly to the sea and a rocky bathing area (not suitable for small children).
A really super family property within walking distance of a small selection of restaurants, although a car would be beneficial for shopping and exploring. An inventory deposit of 250 pounds will be applied to all bookings.
