Adjacent to Le Manoir is Le Vigneron. Details of Le Vigneron-Beautiful old 2/3 bed cottage :
This charming, deceptively spacious old french building is set-out over three floors. It was stripped right back before being completely rebuilt. This allows the luxury of under-floor heating. The top floor currently offers a large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. On the middle floor is an airy and light living room and an adjacent office/second bedroom with a very large double bunk. This is reached up a short ladder, so it may not be suitable for the very young or very elderly, or someone with a disability. The ground floor has a well equipped modern kitchen with separate dining room/third small bedroom, a second bathroom, and outdoor patio area for al fresco dining. In the evening the beautiful old 13th century Church is lit up and provides a wonderful backdrop.

The bedroom on the first floor is unusual, in that it provides a very large double bunk. This is reached up a short ladder, so it may not be suitable for the very young or very elderly, or someone with a disability. On the ground floor in the dining room, it was decided, rather than destroy the old wine cuve, it would be retained and restored. So what this gives you on the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom, and a small dining room, with French doors out onto the terrace at one end. At the other end of the dining-room, there is a step up to the curtained-off cuve, which contains the double bed. Limited parking is available outside the house, in a carpark space on the street. This is on a first come basis, and there is a plentiful supply of free parking available down the road, and elsewhere in the village. Parking is not permitted within the walls of the house.
Capestang is a beautiful 13c village on the Canal du Midi, and is surrounded by lovely vineyards and woods for walking and cycling and riding. There are lots of very good markets in this area, both for wonderful fresh fruit and vegetables and general goods. The coast is 20 mins away with sandy beaches, some excellent fish restaurants and the fish market of Sete. For history there is the ancient walled city of Carcasonne, the roman town of Narbonne, and the city of Perpignan. Spain is only an 1 1/2 drive away and has a very different style to France. Or just sit by the pool with a book.
