The Brittany / Cotes-D'Armor region It is said of the Goëlo coast, that the Sea has signed to love pact with the Earth. And from this day onwards, the sea penetrates deeply inside the earth, to the rhythm of the tide, the “Armor” –the sea- diving into the “Argoat” – the earth. Earth and sea some days quarrel, some days swear fidelity to each other and the lights of the sky hail their passion and create ever changing landscapes
Divided between sea and rivers, the Goëlo coast spreads over 30 towns from Sant-Brieuc, Paimpol and the Bréhat island. And it separates the Gallo land from the Breton land.
Heretreguier area From a stroll among the major granite formations to mountain bike rides, the coast offers a wide range of paths, walks, and hikes (over 40 kilometers of marked trails)
Relaxation, recreation, thrills... alone, with your family or between friends: shared pleasures. Sailing, surfing, scuba diving, kayaking, saltwater fishing: the hardest part is making a choice!
Offshore from Perros-Guirec rises the Seven Islands Archipelago, the largest bird refuge in France. Covering nearly 100 acres, this indisputable haven for birds is home to 27 different species, including 13 marine species: Atlantic puffins, northern gannets, shags, small penguins... over 23,000 couples in all. A group of 30 gray seals lives in the archipelago year-round, but seeing them is a hit-or-miss affair.
