Pomerols is situated just 10 mins drive from the beautiful clean sandy beaches of the warm Mediterranean Sea. The enchanting town of Pezanas is also only 15 mins drive where you can search for Antiques, or shop in the little local craft stores, and see the wonderful local Architecture.
The old town of Agde is also close by just 8 mins drive and nestling on the river Herault & Canal Du Midi. If you drive20 mins drive eastwards you arrive at the ferry port of Sete, or little Venice due to its canal system.
This region is famous for its Wines, and Seafood, especially Oysters, Mussels and Tuna, all of which can be sampled in any of the abundant local restaurants.
Pomerols has a restaurant/ bar, plus a pizza take away. A Post Office, Supermarket, Butchers, three boulangeries, Tabac etc Monday and Thursday am are markets days.
