An ideal holiday home for either a large group of up to 14 people or for two groups or families of 6 each sharing the villa, both having independent access, parking and sharing the pool and garden both lit at night.
Sleeping arrangements are flexible in the villa with all single beds that can be linked to make doubles in any of the 6 bedrooms. Each room is co-ordinated with particular colour schemes that are all light and airy creating rooms of character.....mainly neutral colours with some dramatic contrasts. Kitchens are both maple/black with new appliances. The owners of this villa also own the neighbouring Villa Azur in Juan les Pins which can accommodate a further 16 persons. ( 100m away )
Accommodation La Juannaise (upper level) External steps up to La Juannaise with covered entrance. Three bedrooms each with twin beds that can be linked to make doubles....guests will be asked what configuration they require. Bedroom 1 "Pewter" is dramatic slate/steel grey/white and lilac with en suite shower room with WC and glass hand basin. Bedroom 2 "Chestnut", overlooking pool and garden has rich wooden and satin furnishings, twin or double bed by choice. Bedroom 3 "Apple", garden view, mirrored wardrobes in sandalwood. Cream + apple toned soft furnishings. Separate WC for beds 2 & 3. Bathroom with bath/shower, bidet, basin. Salon/kitchen are open with cream angled sofa housing convertible bed if whole villa is let for 14. Stressed cream dresser + coffee table. Wi-Fi, TV, DVD + some satellite channels. Kitchen is maple + black work top + glass show units. Electric hob, eye-level microwave, integrated electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. Balcony with BBQ, table, bench, chairs + awning, pool view.
La Jardinière (garden level) Same quality furnishings as La Juannaise but different character bedrooms. Entrance to La Jardinière via remote-controlled gate to parking + entrance. 3 bedrooms: Bed 1 "Bronze" with double aspect windows,en suite bathroom with bath, shower over, suspended glass basin unit, WC + bidet. Bed 2 "Jet/Ivory" in vivid modern contrast with double aspect garden views. Bed 3 "Bamboo" with in-built wardrobe cane/cream and sunshine colours, window overlooking garden + pool. Further shower room for Beds 2 & 3 with shower cubicle basin and WC. Salon open to kitchen with maple and glass show cabinets. Electric hob, oven below, integrated dishwasher + washing machine, microwave + fridge/freezer. Angled cream sofa in salon with convertible bed, TV, DVD + satellite channels. Stressed cream dresser + coffee table. Access direct to garden via French doors with awning for shade. Garden dining area under 'burnt orange' tented pergola + matching chairs at side of pool lit at night, BBQ. Idyllic dining area.
Notes on accommodation When whole villa is let to 1 family or group, then the exterior furniture has been chosen specifically for its modulability so that upper floor tables + chairs can be put all together under the garden pergola at side of illuminated pool. Table tennis table. Boules court. There are floor standing fans throughout and the villa is suitable for children, but with respect to all new furnishings mainly in light tones throughout. Garden is all enclosed and private. Wi-Fi connection available. The villa in conjunction with Villa Azur from the same owners is also an excellent corporate venue or for wedding functions being able to sleep up to 30 people together in total. Dates do need to be booked early for this kind of event. The owners can provide catering facilities for functions with staff. Please ask. The garden also has a boules area under the vinegrove and table tennis. Sunbeds enough for all occupants around the pool and tended garden, with garden lights throughout.
Accessibility The property is not adapted for wheelchair users, however the ground floor would be suitable in La Jardinière as access is via a sloping entrance driveway and the pool is accessible either via the garden or from salon area.
Outside Pool in free form style with beach entrance for suitability for children. Depth varying from 1.0 metre to 2.0 metres with no diving. Pool alarm to be used at all times. The pool is shared if La Juannaise and La Jardinière are occupied by different parties. The garden is shared, with some sections allocated for boules, table tennis and pool. Separate dining areas. Ample sunbeds for all occupants plus parasols for shade.
Ideally located within walking distance of beach and shops in Juan les Pins.
Coast/Beach Beach with glorious sandy stretches are approximately 500 metres, so within easy walking distance. There are excellent beach restaurants and bars. Water sports are wind-surfing, scuba diving, jet skiing, para-sailing, deep sea fishing from locally available companies and water-skiing as well as snorkeling, glass-bottom boats for the not so adventurous. Local ferries do trips to the Iles de Lérins, famous for its active monastery, wine, good snorkelling, and links to The Man in the Iron Mask.
Golf Golf is available throughout on the Côte d'Azur and possibly the nearest course is Opio/Valbonne and the two courses at Mougins. There are also two at Mandelieu. Please ask if this aspect is of particular interest.
Skiing There are ski slopes at Auron and Isola 2000 within 90 minutes' drive from the villa and this can provide an excellent day's outing.
Special interest holidays All requests for specialist groups can be catered for with prior notice, particularly with corporate groups who want to do team and group sessions within a cultural environment....themes can be gastronomic and wine-tasting, sport oriented, water sports and sailing competitions, plus in-house cooking with qualified chefs, or simply catered groups with maid service daily.
Travel Nice airport is the nearest within 20-25 minutes maximum depending on traffic. Taxis available at the airport as well as the airport coach service to Juan les Pins. Car hire is not essential here as all facilities are within walking distance except excursions inland whereby a car is recommended.
Distances Juan les pins centre 15-20 mins. walk, beach 10 mins max. Supermarket 5 mins. Nice by car 25 mins. Cannes by car 20 mins. Grasse by car 30 mins. Monaco, Ventimiglia in Northern Italy,Cannes, Nice, St Raphaël, Antibes ( very close to Juan) all easily accessibly by train....20 mins. walk. There are the perfumeries, vineyards, mountain trails, amazing sea views, paragliding from the perched villages, art galleries in St Paul de Vence and Mougins and more....one visit is not enough.
