"We had a very good stay. The house was better than we expected as were the pool and surroundings. Very tranquil area, but within walking distance of the town and hence restaurants. The house was beautifully designed and stylishly furnished, spacious and airy, adding to the relaxed feel of the holiday. It was very clean when we arrived and was easy to maintain throughout the stay. If I had small children I might be nervous about some of their possessions as they could be damaged, but this was not a problem for us as our children are older teenagers, and so they appreciated the decor very much. The swimming pool was lovely with good views and had an interesting robot keeoing it clean. The owners were very helpful when showing us around the house and were keen that we should make full use of it and enjoy our stay. They were extremely helpful when it came to local knowledge recommending walks, cycle rides and an excellent restaurant for our son's 21st birthday. We had a problem with a hornets nest but it was sorted out for us after a couple of days. It was a bit inconvenient and difficult to locate but the owner was very apologetic. (He very sweetly gave me several cuttings of plants that I had admired, which are now growing well!) In all this was a very good stay and I would recommend both the owners and the property."
