There is a separate bathroom on the ground floor with washing machine and a storage room. Patio doors lead onto a garden terrace with beautiful lake views. In the small town of Musso the apartment is in an elevated position commanding lovely views of the lake and mountains. There is a small ferry terminal at Musso and a larger one a short distance away in Dongo. Ideal for taking in the sites by the leisurely slow ferry, or the hydrofoil for more rapid movement up and down the lake. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby. A particular favourite is a short walk down a footpath through fields to the lake shore. A bit steep on the way back, but worth the effort. History abounds in the many lakeside towns and villages. This is a very 'Italian' area, something of a jewel, a secret kept to the Italians themselves. You will always get a warm welcome, especially if you can trot out a few basic phrases of Italian. Further afield are Lugano (1hour), St Moritz (1.5 hour),Milan (1.5 hour) and Verona (2 hours). Fantastic walking country is on your doorstep and at this end of the lake there is a full choice of watersports. ( seasonal)
