Entrance to the estate is restricted to residents only through tall, remote controlled iron gates. An ultra modern impressive villa which offers our guests the utmost privacy and comfort combined with the most spectacular views including a village illuminated high on the thickly wooded hillside, down the coastal plain from Livorno to La Spezia and out over the sea and on clear days one can see Corsica in the distance. There are several entrances to the house which is built out, over the hillside on a series of terraces so that each individual room and terrace enjoy magnificent views. The main entrance opens into a vast open plan L shaped living area with black granite floors, this has been carefully furnished in the best of modern Italian design. Comfortable leather couches form a group with a further area that has a large screen TV, DVD + video recorder. The dining area has a round marble table seating eight. Virtually two sides of the living area are glass windows with two sets of French doors that open out onto terraces (there are mosquito nets are the windows) suspended over the spectacular grounds far below. The Architect who designed the house intended that the maximum amount of natural light would flood into the living areas. Strip blinds and window screens are fitted at two sides of the living area to take advantage of cool evening breezes. The classic kitchen is well equipped with a sunny terrace and adjustable canopy. Steps lead down to a large shady covered terrace area with table and chairs and brick built barbecue. This house is particularly suitable for two families or groups of friends travelling together as the bedrooms are arranged as two suites on two floors, each opening out onto a terrace with its own spectacular view. To keep the grounds and pool well groomed, the housekeepers/gardeners need regular access; they will be pleased to be of assistance but will otherwise respect your privacy.

The medieval town of PIETRASANTA – is a world famous sculpting town which nestles in the foothills of the Apuan Alps and yet is only 3kms from Tuscany's golden coast.. The charming and stylish town is now the haunt of the internationally famous (Sir Paul Smith loves the Enotecca restaurant and so does Gina Lollobridgiga) Henry More, Bottero (the Spanish artist whose paunchy warrior guards the entrance to the village), Mitoraj have all spent time working here and exhibiting their works of art, but then, we knew it first! Bridgewater make paths for others to follow! The town is abundant with authentic restaurants serving food to satisfy the most discerning of pallets and café life spills out on to the square. Both days and evenings can be idyllically passed away in this charming medieval town perhaps with a cappuccino or glass of local wine in your hand. Traffic is mostly banned, allowing the artists to set up their easels in the street and show off their latest masterpieces.
From nearby Forte dei Marmi it is possible to take boats daily trips to the Cinque Terre, Portofino, Elba Island, Capraia Islan. Rennaisance Florence and charming Siena are only an hour away from Pietrasanta,Pisa with its famous leaning tower is 30 minutes drive, the ancient walled city of Lucca is 20 minutes by car, The marble Caves of Carrara are a short distance and Puccini's villa where he lived wrote his operas on Torre del Lago is only 20 minutes drive.
