The accommodation is a delightful stone-built country house + hayloft in a hillside location with spectacular views of surrounding meadows, orchards, olive groves and vineyards.Every modern comfort has been provided.The furnishings have been chosen with lovely care.The same deep care has been put in the organisation of the external area. Two terraces, one out the bedrooms, the other, covered, out of the living room and kitchen, offer the guest two fully provided outside dining areas with spectacular views. Barbecue isn't missing. The infinity pool measures 16x8 metres and it has a jacuzzi hrydomassage corner. All around a very well kept terraced garden, with its 10000 square metres of different flowers and plants.

The big estate consists of the rental villa (6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms) + its own rental hayloft (2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom) on the private hill on the back of the main villa. We only rent the 2 properties to 1 party per time so privacy is never compromised. The pool is located about 50 metres from the main rental villa on a private hill inside the estate on the back of the main villa, right in front of the hayloft and the playground. The owner lives in the same estate in a separate house on the back private hill.

Review Submitted: September 2, 2011 Date of Stay: July 2011 My husband and I stayed in this lovely villa the last week of July and the first week of August 2011 with our 3 children (3, 6 and 7), and 7 other adult family members (total 9 adults, 3 children). There was plenty of room in the home, which was beautifully appointed. There is a nice family room for the children to watch TV and a lovely outdoor terrace where we ate breakfast and a few dinners overlooking the lush countryside. The swimming pool was very nice and VERY little kid friendly with an amazing jacuzzi corner. The grounds around the pool are also very nice, the grass is always green, lots of flowers are all around and a lovely playground. The location was spectacular. We drove into Lucca almost every day and it was only a 10-15 minute drive. We had a lot of luck parking on the street in Lucca and also drove to the the Tuscan countryside for a wine tour and drove one day to the beach in Forte dei Marmi. The house itself is very clean, the furniture is very nice and comfortable and the bathrooms have all been updated. The bedrooms were very nice with a king bed and jacuzzi tub and a separate built in shower. Some bedrooms had 2 twin beds (ideal for the kids). There was also a ground floor bedroom with bathroom. This bedroom would also be ideal for parents and children. My 80 year old Mother-in-Law and her 80 year old husband were glad. We paid extra for the housekeeper to cook breakfast for us all every morning and this is well worth it -- she was lovely, prompt and made us a delicious breakfast. We also hired a cook to prepare us a traditional Tuscan dinner for two evenings -- it was FABULOUS and even better than most restaurants we ate. The location of the villa on a beautiful hill with a breathtaking view. The pool is in an enchanting location on the back of the house, at the top of a hill, from which we gazed over the sunset after a day spent sunbathing. We would strongly recommend this villa to anyone traveling with a family or a large group. The owners live next door and are available to help anytime you need. Fantastic! Cassandra L. Review Submitted: August 18, 2011 Date of Stay: June 2011 The pictures on here do not do this place justice- I was fortunate to be able to stay in the villa in June - absolutely fell in love with Lucca- especially this property. To be honest, I was reluctant to post a comment, as I am hoping to go back and stay here again. (And not have the issue of finding it unavailable!) The proximity to all that Lucca and Tuscany has to offer, was magnificent. I think I would not be able to see everything in a month, there is so very much- and ALL within short distance. WOW. We were able to walk to an excellent market, and found wonderful restaurants (and a fruit stand) down in the village. ***** Loved it here!
Wonderful holidays in Tuscany Cezary Poland Review Submitted: September 23, 2010 Date of Stay: August 2010 We spent two weeks in August 2010 in the villa. The villa is fabulous. It is wonderfully located, almost on the top of the hill, in a quiet area, where you can rest without thousands of tourists. We enjoyed eating meal on the terrace with a spectacular view on the valley. There was enough space to accomodate 12 people (3 families with children from 1 year to 11 years) in comfort. The interior of the villa is nice and clean. The villa is furnished with care in stylish, rustic, but new furniture. The garden is nice and well maintained, the pool is really big. There is even a small children's playground. Owners of the villa are very friendly and helpful. When we arrived and they saw there is a small child with us, they went to the shop and provided us with a brand new infant bedclothes The villa is a good base to visit Northern Tuscany. Florence, Pisa and Lucca are within 1 h drive. The car is necessary, as the villa is located on the hill in a distant from the nearest town, with shops and restaurants.
