A spacious and re-designed farmhouse villa close to Pollença's old town and the beach at Puerto Pollença. Villa Can Pons has beautiful gardens that are child-friendly and private. And it's in a very pretty area of gentle countryside, ideal for cycling and walking.
Inside, it's light and cool with white walls and tiled or wooden floors, with modern-Mallorcan furniture. All the rooms are at ground level. In the lounge-diner there's a comfortable seating area with satellite television, a dvd/cd stereo, and a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings on autumn or spring holidays. The kitchen has appliances including a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave. There are two pretty bedrooms - a double room and a twin, sharing a large and brand-new family bathroom. The reading room has a sofa bed and so doubles as a third bedroom.
The villa is surrounded by lovely gardens with a great pool. There are tall palms and Mediterranean plants, citrus and olive trees. There's a shady covered terrace with a stone barbecue and a bread-oven, a sun-terrace and lots of lawn space. There's also an extra bathroom near the pool and an poolside shower. The garden has beautiful views of fields, trees and the mountains around Pollença, with no other villas close by.
Villa Pons is a lovely family villa with great gardens. It's really practical for families with small children - down a long gated drive and just a short drive from the beach, and cafés, restaurants and bars in Puerto Pollença and in the old town of Pollença.
