Coast/Beach The main sandy beach is in front of the apartment and accessed via a pedestrian gate and some steps. This is a beautiful safe beach which leads directly to Puerto Portals where you will find outrageous yachts, world class shops and numerous cafes and restaurants.
Golf There are 19 golf courses on the island. Poniente and Bendinat golf courses are only 10 minutes drive away.
Travel Palma airport is a 20 minute drive away. A taxi from the airport to the apartment is in the region of €32 but you should check this with the taxi driver before departing on the journey.
Distances Puerto Portals Marina, Marine Land (2 minutes walk away); Portals Nous village (10 minutes walk away); Palma (cathedral quarter with classic Gaudy architecture, narrow streets, Tapas bars, wonderful shops etc), Palma Aquarian etc. (15 minutes drive away)
Further details There is an excellent tennis leisure complex 500 metres away that is frequented by Rafael Nadal. The island is a favourite for European cyclists especially in the spring time when they exhaust the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains. Restaurants: Genova (pronounced Hen-na-ba) is 10 minutes drive has the vibrant Ca'n Pedro 2. In Calvià (10 minutes drive) is Ca'n Torrat a lovely family run restaurant with a fantastic terrace and views over olives groves.
Booking notes A £500 deposit is required at the time of booking (this will be increased accordingly for lengths of stay longer than 2 weeks). Full payment is required within 6 weeks of arrival together with a £500 security deposit which is refunded in full within 14 days of your departure provided only normal wear and tear (no significant damages or losses). Apartment should be left in a reasonably clean and tidy condition.

We just had the best time and the apartment just made it for us! We hadn't realised that it had its own beach, and it was so nice to swim every morning! Tha apartment was lovely and spacious and considering there were 5 of us there and a baby, it didnt feel like we were all squeezed in. We are looking at booking the apartment again though, just looking at dates etc and I've recommended it to other people as well.
