This charming villa is located on a point at the end of the beach. This peaceful development of large villas is located just at the start of a nature preserve where you can hike and bike for miles, if you don't chose to stop at some of the hidden beaches. The main beach is a stones throw away and is over 1 km long. The little beach town offers plenty of bar- and restaurant experiences, but back at Villa Vona you are in peace and privacy. The villa is traditional Spanish style with large rooms and tall ceilings. The décor is eclectic and family friendly, and the bedrooms are spacious, several with built in closets. A total of 9 large bedrooms can accommodate over 20 people, please ask for details of beds available. The rooms are organized as suites with an attached bathroom and children's room to each. Four rooms are poolside and one large suite upstairs have a separate balcony and a fireplace. We would like to accommodate your needs as much as possible!

A fantastic holiday! Mrfaks Trondheim, Norway Review Submitted: September 27, 2010 Date of Stay: July 2010 We were fortunate to spend 2 weeks in this great house! Travel companion consisted of 6 adults, 5 teenagers from 16-20 years and 2 girls in 12 years. The house was very beautifully situated at a height of 2 min. walk to the beach and the nearest restaurant. 10 min to a small shop that "had everything" and several restaurants. All restaurants had very good food and large portions at a low price. We spent some time from the airport (San Javier, Murcia). Directions were not easy to follow when you are unknown in the area, but telephone contact with the local representative (Sue) helped us out. A slight improvement of the route description can be nice. It is very convenient car rental. This gives an opportunity to explore the area and visiting Puerto Mazeron, Cartagene and Murcia, with many shops and good shopping. The description of the house / property was completely on top and we used mostly outdoors (outside kitchen / dining area) with all meals. Great to go straight from bed and into the pool for a morning swim. The house was very well maintained and clean. We had a wonderful close contact with the landlord in the period before we left and she appeared very positive.
The property responded fully to our expectations and I have recommended this villa to a colleague. I'm happy to take another trip here at a later date.

The beach is informally known as the best beach in the area and offers family friendly surf and beautiful sand. A row of quaint shops and restaurants offers entertainment for all ages. At the end of the beach starts a large nature reserve with beautiful hikes, ocean caves and hidden beaches. This little town has everything you need for a week without a car. If you do want to venture out cities such as Cartagena and Murcia is within 30-45 minutes drive, and offers historical sites and plentiful boutique- and mall shopping.
