Can Cristal is a simply unique property. Situated in the most exclusive residential area of Puerto Pollenca. It is ideally placed being just two blocks from the promenade and beach of Puerto Pollenca and a 25 minute walk into the centre.
We have called the villa C'an Cristal as it really is the "Glass House". Its unusual and ingenious design is something straight out of Beverley Hills. It has been featured in the Spanish magazine, Casa Viva, our equivalent to ideal homes in the UK.
Bungalow in style, it has two separate wings, each glass fronted and linked by the gracious entrance hall, again glass fronted.
The focal point of the villa is the superb central courtyard, which contains delightful wooden dining and lounging furniture and is covered by a huge awning to protect you from the mid-day sun. At the end of the terrace is the beautiful free form pool, which has steps down into a shallow end for children. Large sliding doors to the rear ensure privacy to the pool and inner terrace from your neighbours. Pull back the double doors and you enter a small, but pretty high hedged garden with a further dining table shaded by a covered pergola overlooking the pool and barbeque.
Inside the house you cannot help but be impressed with the owners taste in style, in what has been his private home. Wooden floors, floor to ceiling blinds, colourful pictures and the most comfortable of furniture is the order of the day.
The right hand side of the wing contains the bright modern well fitted kitchen, which comes complete with dishwasher and microwave. There is a washing machine for your added convenience. The open plan entrance hall leads into the dining area, which in turn leads to the beautifully furnished lounge with leather suite and digital satellite TV (limited English channels), DVD player and CD player. Large patios lead from here onto the inner courtyard and patio.
At the end of this wing is the air conditioned master double bedroom suite with portable TV for your added enjoyment, which has patio doors onto the courtyard, a dressing area and a beautifully tiled shower room.
The left wing contains three air-conditioned twin bedrooms, a large attractive family bathroom and a shower room complete with hydro massage shower cubicle with sauna facility. Each of these is accessed from a conservatory styled, glass plated corridor which in turn leads onto the inner courtyard.
