Over the years Les Tires (formally known as Casa Nova) has become a firm favourite with Villa Select clients. Situated approximately 4 miles from Puerto Pollenca, it commands breathtaking views across open countryside and the beautiful Bay of Pollenca towards Formentor in the distance. It offers peace and quiet, but with every amenity within a 10 minute drive, that is if you can bear to drag yourself away! Puerto Pollenca is in one direction along the Bay, whilst a little closer is the old town of Alcudia with its old roman walls, shops, restaurants and beaches.
The large 12 metre pool with steps down to a shallow end for children takes pride of place to the front of the house and is set amongst lawned gardens. There is an inviting front covered terrace complete with brick built barbecue and traditional Mallorcan baker’s oven. This area is designed for outside living and has dining facilities as well as a plentiful supply of outside furniture for relaxing under the sun. The owners have laid out an attractive seating area on the opposite side of the house, which provides plentiful shade and incorporates an old olive tree.
The house is entered directly into a comfortably furnished lounge, which has feature fireplace and Spanish digital satellite TV (limited English channels),DVD player and Sony Playstation 2. There is an air-conditioning unit located here which services the lounge and keeps the downstairs bedroom cool/warm. To one side of the lounge is the first of the five bedrooms and this has an antique style double bed. On the opposite side of the lounge there is a most attractive shower room with WC, which boasts large walk-in shower. A door leads from the lounge towards the front of the property and the enormous dining/kitchen, which is very well fitted and comes complete with dishwasher, microwave and washing machine and there is also a separate deep freeze. The long refectory table seats 10 with ease and there is a feature fireplace at one end of the room. A door leads from the kitchen onto the barbeque terrace.
An open sided staircase leads from the lounge to the first floor and the four remaining bedrooms. There are two further air-conditionaing units located on the landing which provide both coll and heat to the upstairs accommodation. There are two double bedrooms, one with windows to the front and pool view and two pretty twin bedrooms, plus two further full bathrooms, which service this accommodation. For that private sun bathing there is also a small sun terrace on this level.
A perfect villa in an idyllic setting and ideal for the larger party. However the maximum occupancy is to be no more than 10 persons.
