Skiing 2-3 hours to the nearest ski resort with many other good resorts within 3 hours drive.
Travel Gerona Airport is the nearest airport - approximately 40 minutes drive. Barcelona airport - approximately 1.5 hours drive. Driving time from Calais is approximately 12 hours. Car hire is highly recommended.
Distances Begur is just 5 mins by car, approx. 1.5km from the villa. There are many coastal villages and inland medieval villages to visit in this region and a car is essential to fully appreciate this unspoilt region with its many diverse attractions. Dali's museum at Figueres is approx. 45 mins by car and further north is the famous coastal town of Cadaques, a tribute to Dali. Famous for its cuisine, there are many excellent restaurants in the region including a 2 star Michelin restaurant near Girona.
