Large recently built luxury villa with enormous (15 metre long) private pool set in over 4,500 square metres of enclosed gardens in the exclusive tranquil residential area of Sant Jordi d'Alfama on the Costa Dorada. This area of Spain is largely undiscovered and unspoilt by mass tourism. However it is just a relatively short drive south from Barcelona . The villa has been delightfully furnished and well equipped to provide spacious accommodation for up to 14 people (plus 1 baby in cot) in comfort. The unique layout of this villa makes it particularly suitable for groups of adults as four of the double-bedrooms have their own individual lounge and the master suite has it's own balcony thus providing private space if required.

Villa Casa is situated in Catalonia on the costal plain between the Mediterranean and the mountains. It is easily accessible - junction 39 of the AP7 auto route and just off the N340 at 1,117 km. This part of Catalonia is known as the Costa Dorada (golden coast) so called because of the colour of the sands. Within a short drive of Casa Case are lots of small coves and fine sandy beaches - some blue flag awarded. The nearby (5km) fishing village of L'Ametlla de Mar is a typical Catalonian village with plenty of bars and restaurants – a gastronomic delight. This area has such a variety to offer. Within 30 min drive are: • The River Ebro with it's spectacular scenery, its diversity of flora and fauna, its magnificent fish and the Delta nature reserves. • Tarragona with its modern shopping centre and roman remains. • Port Aventura and water parks. • Reus, the birthplace of Gaudi. • The historic town of Tortossa.

5 out of 5 A week at Casa Case Nanita Liverpool Review Submitted: October 2, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008 11 members (3 generations) of our family stayed at Casa in September 08. It was wonderful - the owners are very friendly and very helpful. The accommodation is fantastic with the four suites giving the opportunity of getting away from the 'madding crowd' for a brief spell. The Casa has every amenity that one could want, including DVDs and books (which you can swap for one of yours if you haven't finished it!). A car is essential as the beach and local village are just too far to walk. L'Ametlla del Mar has lots of good restaurants at reasonable prices. The pool is unguarded which meant, with a lively 2 year old as one of the party, everyone has to be vigilant.We would heartily recommend it.

The owners ensured we arrived safely, showed us where the local shop was and gave us a tour of the property. The property was beautiful, with its four guest suites with their own private showers it was just what we were looking for. Each room had its own fridge and water, tea, coffee and milk was supplied in each. The grounds were spacious with plenty of room for activities and the pool was ideal as it started shallow going gradually deeper. Fabulous villa, fabulous surroundings and very welcoming owners! The owners were very kind and we had not any problems. Villa was marvellous. Nice coves and a good sea were at disposition. There were not so many people on the beach. L'ametla de mar was non so good. We founded little cheap restaurants cheap near the house. Tennis free near the villa (1 km), very nice swimming pool. On sunday masse was at 500 metres from our villa. We were 4 italian families with 8 children fron 7 to 20 years old (totally 16).
