Its wide sandy beach, beach bars and gently sloping seaside, make it just ideal for children and happy family holidays. Watersports abound here and the bay is a haven for yachts of all types and sizes during the summer months. The small resort centre has two supermarkets, a few shops, a choice of restaurants and a disco. There are just three hotels each offering evening entertainment. Villa Select is very proud of its programme to Cala Santa Galdana, its two white-washed villas Anni & Isa, Bona Vista plus Felita and the prestigious C’an Pere stand proud on the headland and must offer one of the most breathtaking sights anywhere. Our three town houses each with private pool also boast nice views and are two minutes walk into the centre. Once hooked on Cala Galdana, you may never holiday anywhere else again. Situated just behind the main centre, the nearest shops and supermarkets are no more than a 2 minute walk down the hill. The beautiful sandy beach with all its water sports and beach bars are less than a 5 minute stroll. Each property is identical and is reached via a number of steps up from the parking area and past the 4 metre private pools. Above the pool is a terrace for sitting, relaxing and watching the world go by or dining al-fresco. Inside there is a spacious lounge/dining room with satellite TV (limited channels) and a cloakroom on this level with shower and WC. The kitchen is well fitted and comes complete with washing machine and microwave. Upstairs there is a pretty double and twin bedroom with the most glorious views over towards the beach and the bay beyond. A family bathroom completes the upstairs accommodation. Simply a great place to stay for the smaller party enjoying the benefits of a private pool, or for those clients not wishing to hire a car on holiday. However owing to a number of steps, we do not recommend them for the elderly or infirm.
